Brionvega

Iconic transistor radios and radiofonografo designed in the 1960's

In 1895 Marconi invented the radio. In 1963 Brionvega reinvented it. The "ts" radio receiver was created, known across the world as the "cube radio". Design was raised to the nth power in a radio that opens like a shell, created by the inventiveness of Richard Sapper and Marco Zanuso. Constantly modernised by it's technical content the portable radio is now called the "ts522" but has always kept it's original and unmistakable form. So contemporary that it could have been created today.
